The University is proud of the loyalty and devotion of its veteran staff members who have contributed to and witnessed each and
every milestone of the University since its official opening in 1991. With their unfailing support and concerted effort, the University
has become a leading university in the region and gained international reputation within a short span of 20 years.

The Long Service Award was formally established by the University for the purpose of expressing the University’s appreciation
and recognition to long-serving staff members. The Award was first presented on 5 February 2010 to full-time staff members
(both academic and non-academic) who had served the University for 20 years or more in 2009. In the Presentation
Ceremony 2011, the Award will be presented to full-time staff members who have completed 20 years of service in 2010 or
are in their 20th year of service in 2011.

The University celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2011. The Presentation Ceremony will be
the first University’s 20th Anniversary Satellite Event.
